The Town of Milestone invites you to embrace the beauty of winter with our snowshoe lending program. We offer seven pairs of snowshoes and poles to accommodate all ages and sizes, ensuring everyone can enjoy the great outdoors.
Snowshoe Lending Program
Our snowshoe kits include both shoes and poles, specifically sized to match each individual’s weight for optimal performance. Please understand that asking for your weight is simply to ensure the best possible fit and experience. Here are the available kits:

How to Reserve
To borrow a pair of snowshoes, simply visit the Municipal Office located at 105 Main Street. You can reserve or pick up a set or two of snowshoes, and we encourage you to bring a friend or the whole family to share in the fun. Enjoy the flexibility of keeping the snowshoes for an hour or an entire weekend.
Returning the Equipment
Please return the snowshoes when you’re done. We kindly ask that you sign them out during business hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm
