The town of Milestone offers a snowshoe lending program with seven pairs of snowshoes and poles for all ages and sizes.
The snowshoe kits available include shoes and poles. Snowshoes will only work if you have the proper size, and sizing is based on each individual’s weight. Please don’t be offended if you are asked your weight, as we are just trying to get you a proper fit to make the experience more enjoyable. The kits and weights are as follows:

Come to the Municipal Office located at 105 Main Street to reserve or grab a set or two of snowshoes. Get out and embrace the outdoors. Bring a friend or the whole family.
Keep them for an hour or a weekend; sign them out and return them when done. All we ask is that the sets be signed out during business hours Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm
