The Town of Milestone will be making repairs to the Fire Hydrant that was damaged at the corner of Main Street and Prairie Avenue on Monday, Oct 21, 2024. For our crews to make these repairs, we will be required to shut down the Town Water Supply. This means that the Town will be without water for some time. We will make every effort to ensure that these repairs are conducted promptly so the disruption is kept to a minimum but the length of time will be difficult to say until we can determine the extent of the damages. After the repairs are completed, the Town of Milestone will be under a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory. This is a requirement of the Water Security Agency after a water supply experiences a depressurization. Please watch our Facebook page, Web Page, your email and posters for notification.
