Mayor
The Mayor is the head of the municipal council and represents the town’s leadership both within the community and in external affairs. The Mayor’s responsibilities include:

- Council Meetings: Presiding over council meetings, ensuring they are conducted in an orderly manner.
- Public Representation: Acting as the primary spokesperson for the town at public events, meetings, and with other levels of government.

- Decision Making: Collaborating with the council to make decisions that impact the town’s operations, budgeting, and future planning.
Council Members
Council members, also known as Councillors, play a crucial role in the governance of Milestone. Their responsibilities include:

- Policy Making: Developing and implementing policies that promote the welfare of the community.
- Community Engagement: Listening to and addressing the concerns of residents, ensuring their voices are heard in council decisions.
