A Commissioner for Oaths is authorized to administer and witness the swearing of oaths or solemn affirmations for affidavits related to legal matters. They can witness declarations but do not certify the truth of the statements in the document.
To utilize this service, the individual must be physically present before the Commissioner and provide proof of identity (photo identification).
