Milestone Memorial Centre

The Milestone Memorial Centre is an active facility with a modern canteen, dressing rooms and a huge warm lobby that you can watch your child through the wall-to-wall glass out to the rink surface. The ice is artificial so the season starts in early November and runs till mid-March. Open for ice rentals during the skating season for those out of town teams needing extra ice time or during the off-season for weddings, anniversaries or just a family get-together.

Children and youth in Milestone have the opportunity to play Hockey. Players may combine with surrounding towns like Riceton, Gray, Lang, Wilcox and Avonlea to create a team. The Milestone Flyers are the competitive senior hockey team that plays in the Qu’Appelle Valley Hockey league. The Sioux is an active group of “seasoned” players forming a Milestone team.
